Spec-Spot for Dyson directed by Maxi Antonia Stumpp

Molly and Miles want to get married. They are just perfect for each other! How can you tell? Both suffer from dust allergies, which is why they have to carry their vacuum cleaners with them at all times. Yes, that's a bit inconvenient, but as we all know, love overcomes all obstacles. Doesn't it?

Marry Fail Still for Main Page

Since the commercial almost feels like a fairy tail and the voice-over feels very much like a poem, the music was created to support this exact feeling while leading through the short, beautifully crafted story with its twists and turns.

We start with hearing some kind of string quartet that could take place at this exact wedding. Only a few seconds in, the music stops to help exaggerate the moment Molly and Miles struggle to get near each other because of their vaccuum cleaner cables. From this point the music leads through the emotions of the characters and the different places and stories that are being told about the couple in front of the altar. Only once the braids maid suggests using cordless vaccuum cleaners from DYSON to help them finally lean in for a successful kiss, the music breaks from traditional orchestra to contemporary pop/disco music while the guests at the wedding and the freshly married couple can finally celebrate.
